Pre-commissioning and Assisting in Commissioning Marine and Process system Instrumentation and Equipments. Performing Line check and Loop check of all the Instrument and Electrical cable prior to commissioning.
- Commissioning of Medium Volatge Switch Boards, Motors, and Breaker Testing.
- Inspect and list all the equipment that installed in hazardous zones
- Review maintenance records to highlight any problems
- Conduct an ignition hazard assessment on non-electrical equipment
- Assess the electrical equipment with respect to its certification
- Record findings in a report or file
- Implement any corrective action arising
- Responsible of E&I installation & inspection activities on the Site.
- Installation & inspection of instruments and electrical equipments and panels.
- Supervise the quality control function on site.
- Inspect Electrical & Instrumental Work carried out by the yard.
- Conducting different tests such as line check& loop tests carried out by the Yard.
- Monitoring, review and inspection of all major activities and progress of the E&I construction works.
- Develop and monitor systems completions database of engineering parameters, check sheets, and verification criteria.
- Verified all equipments were properly installed according to the IP/enclosure rating according to the design drawing.
- Verified the name plate details against the data sheet of MCC, switchgears, Motors, Process Instruments. Visual inspection carried out the equipment for external damage during the shipping and installation works.
- Prepares Inspection Test Report (ITR) and other documentations of electrical and instruments equipment/system.
- Co ordinate with client for systems walk down and generate the punch list. And Clear the Punch list item.
- Supervise and Monitor Installation of Cable, Cable tray, Lighting, Distribution control panel, all electrical equipment and Grounding system. Ensure the correct installation method and materials as per the cable schedule, datasheets, area classification, specification of equipments.
- Witness and verify Continuity, Merger, HI-POT and Component testing for Medium Voltage & Low Voltage equipment. Prepare the test packages documentation from pre commissioning to final hand over to the client.
- Generate Field Change Request (FCR), Request for Information (RFI) and NCR.
- Assisting Commissioning Engineers to solve technical issues in commissioning. Reporting and Preparing the Commissioning Schedule for the projects. Maintaining the Standard as per the class requirement. Co-ordination with project team for better productivity and efficiency.
- Installation and Hook up of Instruments, Witnessing Calibration of PIT, PT, TIT and re instatement, P&ID verification, Vendor Reports, Issuance of NCR, Follow up with sub contractors in site issues
- Involved in Topside Completions, ITR and punch list clearance, Hook up and Integration of Modules to Marine systems
- Inspection and Installation of Hazardous Area equipments, Ex issues and certificates on special conditions, Completion of E-32
