**_Open Innovation Planner _**

**Responsibilities**:
**Primary**:

- Planning and contract negotiation for open innovation activities in collaboration with external partners.
- Management and consultation for open innovation projects in collaboration with internal technology and business divisions.
- Support and consultation for collaboration between internal technology/business divisions and start-ups/SMEs with which they are matched in Open innovation projects.
- Search for new external partners and open innovation activity schemes.

**Secondary**:

- Collect information of start-ups and local SMEs in the areas explored by internal technology and business division. Analyze them and report on the technologies and businesses held by those companies.
- Collect information on the latest technologies, businesses and trends related to start-ups and innovation in Singapore and Southeast Asia countries.

**Required**:

- Experience working in open innovation activities in a manufacturing company, tech company, consulting firm, university, or government agency.
- Excellent PhD/Master's/Bachelor's degree in science, technology or business.
- Communication and planning skills to work smoothly with external partners.
- Facilitation skills in working with internal technology and business divisions.
- Good teamwork

**Preferable**
- Presentation and proposal skills when proposing new open innovation activities to internal technology and business divisions.
- Ability to collect and analyze start-up information.
- PowerPoint preparation skills to compile activity proposal and analysis materials.
- Ability to propose new activities proactively.
- Knowledge of intellectual property.
- Experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts.
- Experience in open innovation activities in manufacturing or tech companies among the above required experiences.
- Japanese language skills.
