- We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes. As a DevOps Engineer at Drive lah, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud environments, as well as optimizing our development and deployment workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of best practices, automate manual processes, and ensure the successful delivery of our products.
- **Key Responsibilities**:
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, including EC2, ECS, CloudFront, Lambda, and other services, to support serverless and microservices architectures.
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI/CD, to streamline the deployment process and ensure continuous delivery of software updates.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation, to enable the provisioning and management of cloud resources in a scalable and repeatable manner.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability, by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security controls, to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.- Automate manual tasks and processes using scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell, to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation, with a strong focus on AWS and GCP services.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, CloudFront, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles in cloud environments.- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Experience with JIRA, JVM environments, and GCP services is a plus.- Note - This is a remote role
