**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage all cost-related aspects of our projects, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to budgets. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability that Hector Technologies is known for.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation & Budgeting**:Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
- **Tender Preparation**:Develop Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and tender documents, evaluate submissions, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- **Contract Management**:Oversee contract documentation, procurement processes, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- **Cost Control & Reporting**:Monitor project expenditures, track financial performance, and prepare regular cost reports for stakeholders.
- **Risk Management**:Identify potential cost risks and implement strategies to mitigate financial impacts.
- **Site Coordination**:Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.

**Requirements**:

- **Educational Background**:Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying, with a solid track record in cost management, tendering, and contract administration.
- **Technical Skills**:Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam) and a strong understanding of construction methods, material costs, and contracts.
- **Analytical Skills**:Excellent numerical and analytical abilities to assess and control project costs.
- **Communication Skills**:Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams, clients, and contractors.
