Industrial Relations Officer

Singapore NATIONAL TRADES UNION CONGRESS Full time

You will promote and build good industrial relations by working closely with union leaders, members and management partners, to achieve a harmonious industrial relations climate that will bring the maximum benefits to the workers. You will handle grievances, resolve conflicts and negotiate collective agreements to secure the welfare for the workers. In addition, you will advocate practices to help workers up-skill and enhance productivity, in order to earn better wages. You will have the opportunity to undertake research on labour-management issues that will impact at a company or national level. You will also be expected to plan and organise membership promotion activities and union social events to expand the membership base for the union, as well as enhance the value of membership for union members.

**Requirements**:

- Good Degree/Diploma in any discipline
- Graduates are welcome to apply
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate at all levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to think on-the-feet
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- High perseverance and passion
