We are mandated to seek a talented Risk Manager for our client, a reputed bank with significant regional footprints.
As a senior team member, you will assist in establishing efficient risk management across the Treasury activities, market risks, liquidity risks, and counterparty credit risks, ensuring the framework complies with the Group policies and regulatory requirements. You will provide daily monitoring, review, and reporting of the risk positions within limits, treatment of limit breaches, and conduct follow-up actions. You will maintain and monitor bank-wide Key Risk Indicators for Asia, perform deep thematic dives to provide insights on control gaps, mitigate financial risk, and participate in global and regional risk projects. You will support and cover for your team members and deputize for the Head of Asia Risk Controlling during his absence.
To succeed in the role, you should have at least 8 years of relevant working experience in financial risk management or internal controls functions, preferably in private banking. You should also be familiar with HKMA and MAS regulatory requirements on Counterparty Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risks, ISDAs, and risk-mitigating measures. In addition, you should have sound knowledge of capital markets, treasury operations, and private banking investment products and be skilled with performance liquidity stress testing and scenario planning. Strong in quantitative analysis and familiar with using Avaloq, Bloomberg, BVA, SQL query, and database skills.
