Roles & Responsibilities

**Job Purpose**

This position is responsible to deliver the design and architecture of the visibility and reporting functionalities and build services, systems and projects that support internal and external customers.

This position will report directly to Manager, Visibility and Reporting Applications and will work closely with internal group IT members, outsourcing vendors, customers, business partners, and various internal business teams.

**Roles & Responsibilities**

1. Work with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and design/architect a solution using standard architecture principles.

2. Software Development
- Perform or assist in solution design, configuration or development and unit testing for new projects and enhancement requests
- Track and monitor enhancement and support deliverables by service providers (e.g. AMS) as specified in the SLA
- Track and monitor project deliverables by product team as per agreed timeline

3. Application Support
- 4. Manage outsourced vendors performance and adherence to procurement policies

**Qualification**

Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines or equivalent work experience

**Requirements**
- Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent role
- Minimum 8 years’ work experience in Logistics domain
Experience working with reporting tools such as Actuate, Webfocus, BRIO, SAP or other COTS reporting tool
- Working knowledge with Oracle BPM, Dremio, Oracle DB
- Portal - Websphere Portal
- ETL Tool - Informatica, SSIS, Oracle Golden Gate
- Frameworks - Java Spring Boot, Angular, Spring MVC, JSF, Struts, Hibernate, JPA
- Custom Applications - LSS, LSS+, ACS123, SCAI
- Process driven with ability to interact with business users to gather business requirements and confirm solution design
- Ability to analyze business requirement and transform into system process
- Working Knowledge in freight forwarding / consolidation and/or 3rd Party Logistics industry will be advantages, particularly in ocean freight.
- Hands-on approach to problem solving, attention to detail and creative solution design
- Team player and able to manage in diverse workforces
- Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and oral
