**Team Overview**

The Data Management department in Asia is a key hub within Schroders Global Data Management functions providing data services to support the Investment management and Client servicing activities across firm. This includes Reference & Master data management, Pricing & Complex Instrument Valuation and Data Analytics solutions. Working within the Asia Pacific Data Management team based in Singapore, an exciting opportunity has been created to support and progress the provision of high-quality Data Management to Schroders.

We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoys problem solving, aspires to create genuine impact to the business, and appreciates working through technical and operational issues to be part of the Pricing and Complex Instrument Valuation team.

**Overview of role**
- Perform quantitative analysis of financial instruments and portfolios
- Support the secretariat of the Asia Pricing Committee in the meeting coordination and presentation
- Perform regular monitoring of assets listed in Schroders watchlist to ensure assets' fair value remains relevant and up to date
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and possess a strong knowledge in leveraging prevalent financial instrument valuation methodologies.
- Assist with model validation and maintenance for fair valuation

**Essential Skills**
- Possess a degree in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, etc preferred.
- Good understanding of applied mathematics in derivative products.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work well with others effectively in teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong quantitative modelling skills for financial derivatives pricing and valuation with good VBA and/or other programming languages.
