**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise Head Baker and the Bakes Team to ensure production targets, portion sizing, product quality and specifications are reached within their area of supervision.
- Ensure the Bakes team comply with Workplace Safety and Food Hygiene & Safety policies and procedures.
- Manage the production schedule and daily production plan, and monitor the overall production output levels.
- Responsible for formulating new food production standards and SOPs.
- Monitor quality assurance on an overall level through conducting spot checks.
- Investigate production/quality issues in the kitchen and recommend solutions.
- Monitor and recommend ways to reduce waste production.
- Monitor and recommend ways to reduce production costs and operation costs.
- Responsible for procurement and searching of new suppliers/vendors.
- Represents the company as the in-house pastry expert and provides content to the Brand team for marketing collateral and website / social media material.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.

**Requirements**:

- At least 8 years experience in the pastry and baking industry is required.
- This role is 50% operational and 50% management.
- Have strong leadership skills, decision-making skills, and time-management skills.
- Needs to operate in a set-up similar to a food production environment.
