**Job Title: Utilities Operations Supervisor**
**Location: Woodlands, Singapore**

**About the role**:
To manage a team of Associate Engineers to deliver continuous supply of Utilities including steam, chilled water and electricity to Takeda and Baxter Healthcare SA; continuous supply of Clean Utilities including WDC, Water-For-Injection (WFI), Clean Steam (CS), Compressed Air and Gases to Takeda; continuous operation of HVAC system to Takeda and continuous operation of Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) in treating waste stream from Takeda and Baxter Healthcare SA.

**How you will contribute**:

- Owner of the Utilities services including steam, chilled water, RO Water (WDC), WFI and Clean Steam Generation.
- Owner of Electrical Distribution, WWTP, Compressed Air Distribution, HVAC and Gases System supporting Takeda Manufacturing Facilities.
- Responsible to operate and monitor utilities system through PCS, FMS and local control system.
- Perform front line troubleshooting during equipment failure situation and gather any require resources in resolving the equipment issue to minimize production downtime due to equipment breakdown.
- Reports to Engineering Operations Manager on Utilities Operation and KPI's such as utilities availability and equipment downtime etc.
- To maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the operation area under utilities responsibility.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.
- Ensure that the site's safety, quality and compliance metrics are met or surpassed while meeting corporate and site standards and policies.
- To support investigate, propose and initiate corrective and preventative action (CAPA) for equipment and process related issues based on root cause analysis.
- To review and propose revisions to operation procedure (SOP’s) as required.
- Responsible for compliance to EHS, Quality procedure.
- Hold employees/ contractors accountable for execution of assigned duties, responsibilities, and meeting objectives.
- Ensure contractor comply to EH&S rules & regulations and GMP requirements.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, promotion, and retention of direct reporting staff.
- Provides timely support and direction to direct report.
- Recognize and Reward employees that consistently perform at high levels or go above and beyond their required job duties in order to maintain a high level of employee morale.
- Responsible for the training and development for Utilities Team through identifying training/ developmental needs of team member and schedule time and resources to improve their knowledge and skill sets.
- Performs coaching, development and performance management for direct report.
- Provide performance feedback to employees in addition to conducting annual performance reviews. Recognize and implement performance improvement plans when needed.
- Oversee the staffing plan based on available resources including contractor support.
- Accountable for financial budgeting, monitoring and delivery of the financial target in the cost center under his responsibility through managing the operation expenditure to meet or beat the approved budget.
- Manage continuously improvement or asset improvement projects to ensure they are on schedule, within budget, complying to current regulatory and technical requirement.
- Support Regulatory and Internal Audit.
- Work with all Manufacturing counterparts to develop a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous improvement, customer focus, collaboration with celebration of good work and involvement, and development of all people within the operations
- Responsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.
- Commitment to a fair and respectful relationship to others and behavior in accordance with Takeda’s Code of Conduct.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

**What you bring to Takeda**:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years or Diploma with minimum 8 years of relevant experience leading a team in GMP Utilities Operation or Facilities Management.
- Strong technical fundamental knowledge in Utilities or Facilities Management
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships between teams, departments and business units.
- Ability to organize, prioritize work in the face of shifting demands and tight deadlines.
- Good writing skills essential for investigations, reports and proposals

- Boiler Engineer Class 2
- General Utilities and Clean Utilities including RO, WFI and Clean Steam
