You will practice within the organization endorsed scope of nursing practice, policies, and procedures. You are accountable; and you will be responsible to the Registered Nurse and Clinic Manager for all delegated activities, include:
Admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
Patient care activities, e.g. observing, monitoring and reporting of patients conditions and progress. Escalate and notify RN of all unusual and/or untoward observations or happenings.
Preparation of trolleys and equipment for ward-based procedures, e.g. blood culture, CVP/ PIC, intra-pleural drain, lumbar puncture etc.
Perioperative care, e.g. preoperative preparation, sending and receiving patients from operating theatres.
Attend to patients care needs in their activities of living.
Demonstrates proper use and care of equipment.
Perform basic computer updates according to patients care.
Assist doctors and attend to emergency calls whenever necessary.
Any other duties determined by the supervisor.
**Requirements**:
Enrolled with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
A Recognized Enrolled Nurse Certificate or equivalent as approved by Singapore Nursing Board.
Valid BCLS, CPF/AED
Able to perform rotating shifts when required
