Network Security Specialist

**Context**:
EvaBssi APAC is an IT Consulting and Technical Expertise company, part of Sopra Steria Group, with expertise in IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity and Smart Data (Business Process Digital Transformation). Its growth has accelerated these last few years, due to heighten customers' needs in Cloud/Digital Transformation, seamless connectivity and increase of cybersecurity threats.

**Descriptions**:
The Network Security team in Singapore is currently looking for an IT Security Professional to support security tools such as firewalls, Web Application Firewalls and Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems for BAU and projects.

The new joiner will work actively with local and global teams on the evolution of the Network from an IT Security perspective.

**Direct Responsibilities**

1. Monitor and control tasks to ensure IT Governance on Network Security processes are executed correctly

2. Design, validate, implement and document end-to-end processes workflows on security implementations

5. Proficient in handling the web security Zero-day vulnerabilities and must have expert skills in security operations

7. Handle internal customer inquiries with firewall consultation and troubleshoot technical issues effectively

8. Deliver regular reports, dashboards & summaries to management regarding governance control tasks

9. Communicate with external vendors over technical support and for solutions for new projects

10. Proactively identify areas of improvement and implement fixes and solutions to automate / fine-tune the processes with new or existing tools

11. Implement firewall rules and troubleshoot when incidents occur

12. Participate in update/upgrade/migration of security tools used by the team

13. Maintain clear and functional documentations on process guides, technical instructions, etc.

14. Contribute to other duties of Network Security team as needed

**Contributing Responsibilities**:
1. Contribute to the Permanent Control framework for implementation of policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan

2. Contribute to Internal Audit response activities

3. Contribute to improvement of tools used by Production Security to follow-up on the Security Incidents

**Technical**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in the IT Security domain
- SME in the WAF platforms, especially in the F5 ASM and VMware AVI / NSX load balancers
- Guide the engineers on the WAF operational activities, along with handling Network Security Team BAU activities & projects
- Must good in analyzing and reviewing the IPS policies on the Cisco Firepower Threat Defense systems (FTD)
- Act as SPOC for the cyber drill events / Security drills and co-ordinate with infrastructure teams and report the vulnerabilities for the review
- Expert in handling the zero-day vulnerabilities and mitigate the web based attacks by custom scripts / irules
- Must have knowledge on the Fortiguard and Fortinet security control features
- Hands on experience with Checkpoint R81.10, Fortigate Firewalls and must be good in understanding NAC principles
- Must be good in packet capture analysis and Firewall rule coding principles and Rule compliance
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to express complex technical issues in an easily understood manner
- Proficiency in writing programming/scripting languages (Python, VBA, any other language) is a plus
- Experience in handling the production issues and collaborate with other operational teams and drive for the root cause analysis
- Extend the support in the off-business hours to fix any production impacting security incidents

**Specific Qualification**:

- F5 certification, CCNA / CCNP or Any Firewall/NAC Certification

**Salary**: $6,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
