Singapore ARTS HOUSE LTD. Full time

**Job Purpose
To develop and produce impactful venue programmes with AHL tenants and creative stakeholders that contribute to the development of the arts sector in Singapore, and establish AHL venues as distinctive creative, multicultural spaces for diverse audiences.

This includes, but is not limited to:

- Building strong and long-term partnerships with artists, AHL tenants, arts organisations, educators and community organisations to develop programmes and initiatives to achieve AHL objectives.
- Building and developing target audiences through AHL initiatives, platforms and programmes.

**_Duties and Responsibilities _**
- Work as an integral member of AHL Venue Programming team.
- Conceptualise, develop and execute arts and educational programmes and projects across AHL venues, including the Cultural Medallion showcase, in line with the programming strategy and venue-focus, such as literary arts programmes at The Arts House and signature events and festivals for the Arts Centres.
- Actively engage and reach out to targeted audiences, including vernacular language communities, schools, community, beneficiaries, and interest groups, through programming initiatives and platforms.
- Manage all administrative and logístical duties related to initiatives and projects, including but not limited to, budgets and timelines, ticketing, front-of-house and customer management, and obtaining necessary approvals from internal and external parties, etc.
- Work closely with Placemaking, Marketing, Communications and Centre Heads in the placemaking, planning and marketing of AHL venue programmes and initiatives, as well as cultivate and maintain artist, partner and stakeholder relationship to build the AHL programme and brand identity.
- Support Partnership Development to canvas and secure sponsorships for AHL venue programmes and initiatives, including identifying recommendations for grants and funding sources.

2. _Experience & Skills _
- Preferably 3 years [for Assistant Manager] and 5 years [for Manager] of relevant experience in an arts organization, demonstrating a strong aptitude/interest for programming.
- Fluent in English and proficiency in a Mother-Tongue language (Mandarin/ Malay/Tamil).
- Possesses good communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Dynamic and strong team player with good organizational skills, able to work independently and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work on weekends, public holidays and evenings when required.
- Specialized knowledge: Passion and knowledge of arts and culture in Singapore
