Low-latency Network Architect

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and implement low-latency network architectures that meet the performance and scalability needs of our clients.
- Optimize network configurations to ensure mínimal latency and high reliability.
- Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate network provisioning, deployment, and management processes.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for network automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct network performance analysis and tuning to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in network technologies and industry best practices to ensure our infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of network hardware and software.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Architect or similar role, with a focus on low-latency environments.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security.
- Strong experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Proficiency in Python for network scripting and automation.
- Experience with network performance monitoring and analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE) are a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in financial services, high-frequency trading, or other industries where low-latency networking is critical.
- Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and NFV (Network Functions Virtualization) technologies.
- Understanding of hardware and software considerations for low-latency networking, including FPGA and custom NICs.
