As a Barclays Dealer of Multi-Asset & Derivatives, you will be a senior member of the Dealing and Derivatives team for Barclays Private Bank in Singapore. You will provide clear and accurate Multi-Asset & Derivatives execution that supports internal and external clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for daily trading activity, delivering market commentary and high-quality execution of trade ideas in multiple asset classes and derivatives.

**What will you be doing?**
- Working with the Head of Dealing and Derivatives, Business Heads and Investments teams to enhance the infrastructure and operating processes to meet high value client requirements
- Providing assistance to requests from infrastructure partners (including the Chief Controls Office, Product Approval Teams, Legal and Compliance)
- Participating in client prospecting and business development efforts including client meetings, conference calls and presentations primarily with High Net Worth and Key Client teams
- Performing high quality execution of Fixed Income, Equity and Derivative transactions for high value client relationships
- Following and enhancing end-to-end procedures for Singapore Dealing desk, and meeting governance & risk management controls and compliance requirements in an error-free manner
- Co-ordinating the manufacturing process for structured products and the operational implementation of launches to ensure the processes meet internal governance requirements
- Being knowledgeable of the risk issues impacting the Global Dealing and Direct Access desks and their relevance to Singapore and providing oversight to ensure local procedures are followed
- Assisting Private Bankers, Investment Advisors, the Active Advisory team, and clients by contributing expert market technical knowledge, execution capability and market commentary

**What we’re looking for**:

- Private banking or wealth management background, with solid knowledge of the institutional market, technical and product knowledge across asset classes and derivatives
- Ability to support in establishing Dealing and Derivative operations in a new market including definition of policies & operating procedures, negotiation & ability to influence decision-making
- Ability to improve the performance of others in a Sales Trading and/or Execution capacity and able to lead by example
- Excellent academic background or equivalent related experience, and appropriate regulatory qualifications in Singapore or similar jurisdictions

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Fluency in English with written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Additional language would be beneficial
