**Risk and Performance Management Department**

The Risk and Performance Management Department (RPMD) is responsible for the independent assessment, measurement, monitoring and reporting of GIC’s market, credit and operational risk profiles.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and technically competent individual who has an interest in risk management, systems and methodologies. You will be a member of the **Risk Infrastructure** team to build and manage systems and data solutions which will support risk management activities within RPMD.

**Responsibilities**
- Design and manage the data infrastructure needed to support risk management activities within RPMD
- Partner system owners in engaging end-users (e.g., risk analysts, risk managers) to gather their requirements on risk and performance data
- Work with the technology group to design and implement data models, storage and publishing solutions to meet the end-user requirements
- Establish the necessary controls and processes, as well as manage the required operations and supporting staff, to ensure good quality of data residing in RPMD’s data storage (data marts, warehouse etc.)
- Work with data departments to improve the design of enterprise-wide data models, as well as data coverage, for reference, transactional and market data consumed by our risk and performance systems
- Participate in corporate data initiatives and ensure that RPMD’s data needs are represented and addressed
- Provide cover and support to the team on system operations, data and enhancement activities

**Requirements**:

- Good Degree in Banking & Finance, Engineering or Data related fields of study
- At least 8 years of financial work experience in the areas of risk management (methodologies, analytics or production) and data management
- Good understanding of financial products, risk and performance analytics, and trade-related data
- Strong working knowledge of database, data models and data storage solutions
- Strong technical skills including SQL, data visualisation tools, programming and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with different stakeholders and external vendors
- Able to work independently under pressure
- Good team player who possesses drive and initiative to be able to work with mínimal supervision
