**Brief description**:
iO3 is a fast growing company in the field of maritime digital solutions and satellite connectivity.

We are hiring an IT service engineer to help manage and support our expanding customer base, with an emphasis on prompt response and exemplary delivery of support/solutions.

**Jobscope**:

- Assist team lead in ensuring customers’ requests are promptly resolved, or to liaise with vendors to arrive at a solution
- Setting up and installing new computers, network infrastructure (up to L2) and software on board vessels or at shore
- Maintain network infrastructure drawing for each vessel
- Remote assistance to vessels upon coordination of timezone
- Diagnosing and fixing network problems and hardware or software faults
- Maintaining inventories of hardware and software for each vessel
- Assist in ensuring prompt quotation, procurement and delivery of equipment to customer premises or vessels
- Be actively involved in project preparation or solutions to meet customers’ requirements
- Exposure to other segments of IT ie OT equipment, CCTV, WiFi infrastructure, satellite communications
- Any other tasks assigned

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in L1 networking, windows OS and MS office, WiFi networking, network infrastructure, firewall, VLANs, routing
- Irregular hours at times, including weekends/public holidays, dependent on vessel’s schedule and arrival. Shipboard allowance is provided for vessel attendance.
- Able to work on own and be responsible to prepare proper documentation for work completion
- Keen to learn and driven to excel
- Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in relevant fields of study
- This position is open to fresh graduates as well, training will be provided
