**The Role**
We are seeking a highly qualified Portfolio Manager based in Singapore to manage a portfolio of securities covering the Asia Pacific including Japan regions. They should also involve managing his/her team members in various Schonfeld office locations as well as interacting with trading and risk management teams in the region.
**What you’ll do**
The person should be a team player with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency and high level of professionalism and familiar with investment markets and fundamental equity strategy in Asia.
**What you’ll bring**
What you need:
- Undergraduate degree Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent;
- At least 10 years’ experience in investment related industry;
- Prior exposure in regional or global settings is a strong plus;
- Strong understanding of Japanese market is a must, with prior experience working in Japan;
- Perform in-depth fundamental research on listed companies and generate long-short ideas; and
- Business fluence English and Japanese is a must.
