Compensation & Benefit Specialist - Asean & Anz

This position will provide you the exposure to the Compensation & Benefits portfolio across countries in the ASEAN and Australia region.

The role will be focused on benefits topics across the region and will give the incumbent a chance to create & deploy impactful employee benefits programs.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Act as a topic owner for benefit-related topics in the region
- Develop and design a benefits roadmap in alignment with HQ guidance, regional strategy, and country demands
- Manage benefits implementation in collaboration with relevant internal/external key stakeholders (country HR colleagues, payroll/benefits administration team, etc.)
- Lead annual review and renewal processes for employee-related insurances and ensure compliance and management of legislative changes
- Design and setup of regional health & wellbeing programs to optimize employee experience and cost-spent
- Lead or contribute to the global/regional/country benefit projects
- Responsible for data management, incl. Benefits inventory
- Ensure appropriate reporting for benefits, incl. approvals for any design changes
- Advise management and employees in all benefits-related questions
- Conduct benefits benchmarking and maintain benefit market intelligence
- Support M&A activities in assigned countries (incl. carve-outs and integration) jointly with relevant stakeholders
- Be a central point of contact for all operational C&B topics for the responsible countries within ASEAN Australia; i.e. consult & coordinate all C&B-related activities within People & Organization/ HR, other local functions (e.g. Legal, Data Privacy Officer, Communication, Tax, IT, etc.) in the responsible countries to ensure the delivery of all C&B related activities
- Identify potentials for optimization, initiate necessary adjustments for the responsible C&B topics
- Other assigned tasks/projects

**Requirements**:

- The overall experience of 4-7 years with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the C&B area. Experience within the Asia Pacific region and/or consulting firm is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of C&B practices and a proven C&B background
- Strong communication skills in the presentation of plans for review and approval, and in communication of plans to managers and employees.
- Strong analytical abilities and detail orientation, including proficient use of MS Excel
- Flexibility to work in an ambiguous and fast-paced changing environment
- Evidence of having successfully managed complex projects or programs
- Ability to run initiatives independently with high results orientation
