The Key Account Executive (KAE) is responsible for detailing and selling Viatris portfolio of products to healthcare professionals within his/her designated territory. The KAE will collaborate with different stakeholders of the account team (Sales, Marketing, Medical) to support account strategies and deliver results.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Responsible for delivering the sales target set for assigned Viatris business

2. Service accounts, develop prospects, executing sales and marketing initiatives, market data collection and customer insights gathering

3. Successful listing of new products into hospitals and clinics

4. Set clear objectives and develop strategies for each account to drive penetration and growth

5. Track account sales and provide accurate forecast (Sales, penetration rates and market share)

6. Engagement with Senior Stakeholders eg. Key Decision makers in Key Accounts to build / maintain business partnering relationships

7. Lead the negotiation strategy and influence using compelling value propositions/ solutions that delivers a win/win outcome between Viatris and Key Accounts

8. Establish good rapport with decision makers at (all levels)

9. Service and maintain existing business (Contracts, quotations, tenders, relationship management)

10. Develop deep understanding of the Key Account’s needs through information gathering through different sources

11. Using Key Account insights to co-create innovative solutions with internal and or external stakeholders that mutually benefits both

12. Establish sound understanding of customer needs, challenges, competition, key trends etc.

**Qualification and Experience**

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Pharmacy, Business, Management or related field

2. 5 years sales experience in pharmaceutical/medical device industry

3. Sales experience in **Primary Care or Specialty Care **desired.

4. Functional knowledge of and exposure to sales and marketing

5. Proven track record in driving and exceeding sales targets

6. Self-starter, high level of personal motivation and results-oriented

7. A team player with ability to work effectively cross-functionally

8. Willingness to take on new pilots in the areas of marketing, digital and analytics and new ways of working

9. Strong interpersonal skills

10. Excellent planning, presentation, and communication skills
