**Senior Engineering and Manufacturing Director, EUROPE.**

**Reporting to**:Global Manufacturing VP
- We are seeking a highly skilled
**_Senior Engineering and Manufacturing Director, EUROPE _**with extensive experience in leading transformational initiatives ideally within the healthcare industry, in the EU region. In this role, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical products to customers across the region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the strategic transformation of engineering and manufacturing operations within Europe, driving efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders, including R&D, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams, to align engineering and manufacturing objectives with business goals.
- Develop and implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of engineering and manufacturing operations in Europe.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and maintain a culture of quality and compliance across all manufacturing sites.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation within European operations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to engineering and manufacturing operations in Europe, ensuring business continuity and product safety.
- Develop and manage the engineering and manufacturing budget for Europe, optimizing resource allocation to achieve cost-effectiveness and profitability targets.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within European operations, leveraging lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in engineering and manufacturing leadership roles ideally within the healthcare or medical device industry, with a focus on European operations.
- Proven track record of successfully leading transformational initiatives and driving operational excellence within a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to medical device manufacturing in Europe
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing teams in a matrix organizational structure and working in a global environment is highly desirable.
