Presales Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- You will work closely with our sales team to identify, design, architect and provide technical solutions for our customers
- Provide innovative system solutions to our customers
- Provide technical proposals, presentations and solution bill of materials for tenders and RFPs/Tenders
- Size up manpower needs for maintaining and managing communication networks, IT infrastructure
- Ensure solutions stated in the Statement of Work are best practice and in line with client requirements
- Liaising with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements
- Keeping abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes
- Conducting Proof-of-Concept to showcase its technical feasibility
- Undertake ownership and accountability for the design of customer’s ICT infrastructure
- Perform other job responsibilities as and when assigned

**Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 2 years’ experience in presales
- Proven experience in presales on engineering or a related technical role, with a focus on manpower sizing for maintenance and operations
- Ability to analyze complex technical and operational data to recommend manpower solutions
- Strong knowledge of communication equipment, IT systems, and DWDM technology would be an advantage
- Possess strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Possess strong presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are adept at working with multiple stakeholders
- Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, HR certifications) are a plus
