**Role**:Cloud Migration & Managed Services Consultant

**Type of Role**:12 months renewable contract + (1 month Contract Completion bonus)

**Scope of Role**:
Provide Cloud Managed Services for Server and Storage Managed and IT infrastructure, based on the various hybrid cloud platform framework mínimally pertaining to:
(a) Platform-As-A-Services (PaaS)

(b) Infrastructure-As-A-Service (IaaS)

(c) Database as a Service (DBaaS)

(d) Software as a Service (SaaS)

(e) Security as a Service (SECaaS)

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer Microsoft DNS service and AWS Route 53.
- Perform transfer or replication of the DNS records to SP appointed secondary DNS services. Monitor DNS health and working with other parties to troubleshoot DNS issue.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the Cloud service provider(s) virtual machine instances’ services. administer all native cloud services available at AWS GCC and Azure Cloud that SP has subscribed to.
- Provide IP address management and allocations within each cloud managed instances, for example, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and Azure Virtual Network (VNet)
- Raise the Service Request (SR) or Change Request (CR) to the cloud solutions and service providers
- Provide cloud tagging and management, service component naming and management, user, group and role management.
- Configure and pipe all the logs to central logging service such as Log Analytics Workspace and AWS Centralized Logging.
- Monitor and alert on threshold reached or exceeded for health, load and error statistic on the monitoring systems.
- Add/Delete zone for domains and sub domains and Name Service (NS) records.
- Perform transfer or replication of the DNS records to appointed secondary DNS services.
- Manage, operate and administer the native Cloud services and features in a multi-cloud approach.

COMPUTE SERVICES
- Responsible in overseeing the commissioning, decommissioning, operation and administration of Virtual Servers, Virtual Machines and Container services.
- Recommend and Ensure deployment of the compute services are optimised using Cloud using tools such as Service Fabric and Auto-scaling capabilities.

STORAGE
- Proficient in consultancy for Cloud service provisioning in AWS and Azure and make recommendations accordingly for storage and space setup requirements.
- Commission the storage space for instances and services hosted on AWS, Azure or other cloud service providers.

NETWORKING
- Proficient in performing the provisioning, operation and administration of load balancing services and virtual firewalls.
- Proficient and perform the provisioning and administration of cross-premises connectivity using Virtual Private Network (VPN) Gateway services.
- Proficient in performing the provisioning, operation and administration of site-to site VPN or dedicated private network.
- Proficient in performing the provisioning, operation, administration and maintenance of native cloud network services provided by the cloud service provider(s), which include but not limited to, sub-netting/route tables/NACLs/Security groups, etc.

MANAGEMENT AND MONITORING
- Generate, monitor and share billing data by time, organisation and resources.
- Enable continuous IT services and compliance through process automation and configuration management.
- Provides detailed information about the health of resources as well as recommended actions for maintaining resource health.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree or its equivalent with proven technical knowledge and expertise.
- 5 years of relevant working experience.
- **AWS and Azure certification is mandatory.**:

- **Office hours **, however prepared to work nights or weekends whenever required.
- Must be team player.
