As a Captain at Picotin, you are responsible to promote and ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment and ensure only the highest quality products are being served.
- Greet and bring customers to their tables.
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
- Prepare tables and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Inform customers about the day’s specials.
- Offer menu recommendations upon request.
- Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Serve food and drink orders.
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
- Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu, and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties).
- Follow all relevant health department regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Preferred language(s): English.
- Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress.
- Attentiveness and patience for customers.
- Active listening and effective communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts.
- Required Skill(s): Basic math skills, Microsoft Office, XL.
- Preferably Entry Level specialized in Food/Beverage /Restaurant Service or equivalent.
