**ABOUT US**

Polybee is on a mission to enhance global food security. To achieve our mission, we are building technologies that increase productivity in the fresh produce sector in agriculture. Our first service forecasts yield and automates pollination using nano-drones and AI. Our main customers are seed companies, greenhouse co-operatives, and indoor vertical farms.

**YOU’LL BE OUR**:App Developer (Contract)

**YOU’LL BE BASED AT**:Singapore, HQ

**YOU’LL BE ALIGNED WITH**:Lead Engineer

**YOU’LL BE A MEMBER OF**:Commercial Operations team.

**APP REQUIREMENTS**:

- App must contain instructions for the user on how to collect data.
- App must be able to record video data, along with timestamped sensor data (accelerometer, gyro, g-force, GPS).
- User must be able to start, stop and pause recording.
- Integrate scripts developed by Computer Vision team on backend.
- Data is stored locally on SD card if there is no internet.
- When a Wi-Fi connection is detected, data must be transferred to cloud.
- User must be able to specify details regarding data collection such as plot id,compartment, etc.

**HERE’S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Ability to use the Android Studio, including the Android SDK, with ease.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Familiarity with ROS is a plus.
