Foreman (Motorcycle)

**JOB PURPOSE**

1. Responsible for the quality of work performed.

2. Responsible for the accuracy of time recording.

3. Responsible for safety, good order and tidiness in the work bay.

4. Responsible for monthly work performance in achieving Efficiency, Productivity and Utilization set targets.

Responsible to strictly adhere Work, Safety and Health policies while performing their duties inside workshop and outside compound.

**JOB CONTENT**

1. To drive slowly and safely inside workshop and outside compound.

2. To ensure proper positioning of lifting equipment before jacking up of vehicles.

3. To ensure job cards are not folded and kept clean in plastic folder.

4. To conduct service and repair work in-accordance with the manufacturer guidelines and report to workshop foreman/Technical Executive for necessary technical assistance.

5. To carry out all repair jobs required on job cards with accordance to manufacturer standards.

6. To show job card to Parts Clerk when ordering spare parts.

7. To report to workshop foreman on parts unavailability.

8. To maintain good relationship with Parts Department staff.

9. To submit add job forms for additional repair recommended and get approval before repair.

10. To write comments on feedback / add-job form for each service line and confirm work have been carried out correctly.

11. To complete repair jobs within the specified time given by BMW flat rate manual to meet monthly Efficiency, Productivity and Utilization targets.

12. To report to workshop foreman promptly on job completion and collect next assigned work order, clocking accordingly, clarify with workshop foreman in case of doubt.

13. To ensure all warranty parts must be packed and tagged with proper information before returning to Parts Department.

To ensure work bay, workstations and hand tools maintain and organized in satisfaction condition.

Education / Professional Qualification

1) NTC 3/2 or Nitec in Automotive Technology (light vehicle)
