**What the role is**
- As an Assistant Engineer for the Drainage Operations, your main roles and responsibilities include, but not limited, to the following:
**What you will be working on**
- Carry out flood operations/deployments in a rotating shift system to keep public out of harm’s way during any heavy rain events - Conduct routine inspection/surveillance along drainage system for enforceable offences such as fishing, unauthorised entry into waterways etc - Attend to/investigate drainage related feedbacks along public drains and waterways - Attend and manage customer feedback pertaining to drainage matters - Carry out handing over inspections for newly completed drainage projects by PUB or external developers - Response and investigate drainage incident/crisis such as water pollutions - Carry out routine inspections of drainage network system within flood sensitive areas - Supervise contract administration and manage the contractors, including site inspection of the contractor’s work
