Equity Research Analyst

Conduct in-depth quantitative/ fundamental research on coverage companies and industries spanning the **TMT, AI, Technology, and Biotechnology** industries to support investment decisions.
- Analyze the financial status, and market opportunities of companies
- Uses mathematical or statistical techniques to solve practical issues in finance including risk management, securities trading, derivative valuation, or financial market regulation
- Determines the efficacy of existing and new financial models, products, and analytics.
- Conducting industry research including summarizing 3rd party research papers and conducting own online research
- Researching and assessing potential investment opportunities, both qualitatively and quantitatively under seniors’ guidance
- Conducting due diligence on potential investment targets
- Building and operating complex excel financial models for company valuation purposes
- Participating in business analysis to help the team form a view on the merits of a potential investment
- Contributing to the preparation of discussion materials on proposed investment opportunities for the consideration of the internal investment committee
- Assisting in preparing and reviewing legal transaction documents
- Participating in the monitoring of new and existing portfolio investments
**Education and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines CA, CFA, CPA will be preferred
- At least 3 years year of work experience in
- Strong technical skills in accounting and financial analysis, research, and financial modeling
- Good drafting, interpersonal skills, and communication
**Salary**: $5,000.00 - $20,000.00 per month
