Worked in the insurance/ reinsurance industry for more than 3 years as an Underwriter
- Work experience with regional responsibilities and good knowledge of markets
- Underwriting experience and market knowledge of SEA, India and North Asia
- Underwriting experience and market knowledge of Great China is an advantages
- Fluent English spoken and written is essential
- Additional regional language(s) would be an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication with good negotiation skills
- Good interpersonal skills, approachable and a good team player
- Possesses leadership qualities

Willing to travel

Main Responsibilities include but not limited to following:

- To analyze risks and its exposures for assessment of risk quality and insurance coverage including pricing of risks and other related requirements
- To ensure compliance with company guidelines in the underwriting of facultative business
- To ensure proper administration of treaty business transacted including follow-up actions for endorsement, registration in IT system and reporting.
- To co-operate with other teams in the pursuit of company targets
- To take on other assigned roles and responsibilities relevant to treaty reinsurance business
- Be able to carry out desk-top evaluation of a risk and where necessary seek relevant information clarification from the cedant/broker

Be able to evaluate and steer portfolio in order to enhance results and to fit company’s risk appetite.
