**Summary**:
This role is based in the Singapore Regional office, reporting to the Head of Asia Region Procurement (ARP).

You will be responsible mainly for the negotiation and procurement of related container depot services and its relevant charges, for depots in the Asia and North Asia region. Together with the Head of ARP, you will develop, align and implement container depot strategies and plans to meet the ARO (Asia Region Office) KPIs, as well as meeting the business’ requirements.

We are looking for an energetic individual with strong drive to achieve continuous cost improvement and sustainability, while ensuring quality services levels are provided from vendors. On required occasion, you will need to liaise and co-ordinate with colleagues handling procurement for the Terminals.

**Your Main Responsibilities include**:

- Develop strategies, targets and implementation approaches to achieve continuous cost improvement, cost sustainability and ensuring good service efficiency/levels from the vendors.
- Established and maintain a contract and cost database for good planning and analytics work, to enable effective data driven procurement approach.
- Develop and maintain a fair platform for all vendors, ensuring a complete financial evaluation of all proposals and fair selection process.
- Consistently reviewing and identifying areas such as review of tariffs, assessment of market, benchmarking, high frequency of cost occurrence events or cost components, etc. for cost improvement
- Working closely with Operations team for SLAs and also periodic vendor performance appraisals
- Actively involvement in yearly budgeting and also cost savings initiatives.
- Develop good communication, manage relationship and team work both with internal and external stakeholders for the common good interest of the CMA CGM Group.
- Always uphold a high level of code of conduct and ethics/credibility/integrity in all business dealings with vendors.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- University Degree and/or Maritime and Logistic University education qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in negotiation and handling procurement of high value contracts.
- Relevant knowledge in the shipping / container depot industry is highly advantageous.
- Fluent in professional English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent communication and analytical skill.
