20+ years in a global hi-tech Professional Services Organization - building and leading businesses.
- General management background, coupled with significant sales / business development IT leadership experience
- Experience in the design, activation and iteration of effective Go To Market Strategies for IT, Cloud, Software or SaaS companies.
- Ability to drive an engagement and interact with C-Level executives, while also developing strong sales leaders who can do the same
- Experience in leading complex, large-scale technology / digital transformation programs
- A self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.
- A demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about sales, business, product, and technical challenges, coupled with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus
- A keen sense of ownership and drive.
- Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguity and scale systems, processes, and teams across multiple lines of businesses and customers.
Job summary
As AWS continues to rapidly grow the business and team in ASEAN, we are seeking a Head of ASEAN Professional Services Sales and Go to market leader in an effort to further accelerate the growth trajectory of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing and entrepreneurial organisation, bringing innovation and growing the adoption of cloud computing in the region.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Engage customers - collaborate with AWS ASEAN leadership teams to develop strong customer and partner relationships and build a growing Professional services business and drive AWS adoption in a geographic territory
- Think big - ability to assess customer marketplace circumstances, organizational readiness and C-level sponsor willingness to initiate conversations that lead to broader strategic transformation programs, construct large programs which include multiple engagement services
- Envision and inspire customers. Manage key, strategic accounts, and customer engagements
- Leadership: Functionally lead ASEAN professional services sales and go to market teams
- Develop and execute against a territory plan and Meet or exceed quarterly growth targets
- Grow Pipeline: Define and drive initiatives to grow AWS ASEAN Professional Services consulting pipeline.
- Customer Proposals: Guide in deal shaping and pricing. Increase quality and impact of proposals positioned with AWS customers driving clear business outcomes and transformational value. Shape and drive to closure complex engagements.
- Strategic Pursuits: Shape and lead strategic pursuits working closely with AWS Sales leadership.
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
- Customer References: Drive quality and impactful customer references throughout AWS ASEAN Professional Services engagements and effectively enable customer facing teams to leverage references with new customer opportunities.
