DESIGNATION : Senior Procurement Manager (Gardens Operations/ Conservatory Operations)

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be based in our Gardens Operations or Conservatory Operations department to provide procurement support for plants, props and related material purchases. You will assist in the full spectrum of procurement activities and processes whereby attention to details and focus on quality of works are critical. You will also assist to provide prompt procurement advice to stakeholders in accordance with contract terms and conditions and specifications, procurement policies and industry good practices and assist in the proper management of procurement audit matters. As part of the job, you may be required to join in on local or overseas procurement trips.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Supply Chain/ Business Administration/ Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience in procurement and contracts management, with at least 4 years' of relevant working experience, preferably with knowledge in sustainable procurement as well
- Good knowledge and exposure in procurement and contract management line of works and a keen interest in plants would be advantageous
- Proficient in the usage of MS Office and ERP systems such as Oracle Netsuite and TenderBoard
- Meticulous, resourceful, able to multi-task and possess strong sense of urgency to complete tasks efficiently
- Resourceful, able to work independently and is a good team player at the same time
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and solutioning skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and propose effective solutions
- Must possess good writing skills
