R&D, clinical translation and service programmes to advance clinical research and innovation for

The Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI) is the national academic research organisation

dedicated to enhancing the standards of clinical research, and coordinating clinical trials. Our

mission is to spearhead and develop core capabilities, infrastructure and scientific leadership for

clinical research in Singapore. SCRI also works with the National Medical Research Council (NMRC)

to assist the Ministry of Health (MOH) in implementing clinical trials policy and strategic initiatives to

support and develop clinical research competencies locally. In driving towards its vision, SCRI

collaborates with clinicians to enhance Singapore’s clinical research and strengthen its expertise in

executing multi-site, multi-national studies and the development of regional clinical research

networks.

We are looking for passionate individuals who are interested to join us for an internship opportunity
that supports the team implementing the national clinical trial strategy. As the team stands at the
intersection of clinical research, national initiatives and healthtech, the individual should be
comfortable with and adaptable to changes.

At the end of this internship, the individual will better understand the roles, responsibilities and the
importance of the national coordinating body for clinical research.

**What you will be working on**

**The Role: **

Support the execution of national clinical trial initiatives, which includes tasks such as (but
not limited to) data analysis, landscape mapping, conceptualise frameworks, market
research, project status and performance tracking, outcome measurements, taking meeting
minutes.

Assist in organising roundtables/workshops and other ad-hoc duties

Duration of Internship**:up to** **6 months (depending on academic calendar)
**What we are looking for**

Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in healthcare, science-related field or Business
Administration. (e.g. Pharmacy, Bio-science, Life-science, Applied Science, Clinical Research,
Business Management)

Interest in basic clinical trial and drug development processes

Good interpersonal, organisation, time management and communication skills

Ability to use data analytics suites such as Excel, SQL and Tableau would be an added
advantage

Adaptable and willing to learn fast

Meticulous and proactive

A team player and self-motivated

Applicants who have some prior working experience would have an advantage
