**Responsibilities**:

- Design and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest, cleanse,and transform large datasets across capital markets and investment banking platforms.
- Develop reporting solutions and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau for financial performance tracking and compliance insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and implement scalable data engineering solutions aligned with business goals.
- Perform data lineage mapping and ensure high data integrity across front-to-back trade lifecycle processes.
- Support UAT, SIT, and production deployments of reporting and data platforms, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Translate business and regulatory needs into technical specifications, BRDs, FSDs, and data dictionaries.
- Integrate systems using messaging queues and APIs to facilitate secure, real-time data transmission.
- Implement data governance and compliance solutions aligned with global regulatory standards.
- Use tools such as JIRA and Confluence to track project deliverables in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Drive automation and optimization efforts to reduce manual processing and improve data reporting efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data analysis within financial services, particularly capital markets and investment banking.
- 4+ years of experience in SQL, Teradata, and data modelling for large-scale analytical solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience in building and managing ETL workflows, integrating structured/unstructured financial data.
- In-depth understanding of capital markets workflows, bond issuance, and trade lifecycle operations.
- Demonstrated experience with regulatory reporting and compliance data requirements.
- Skilled in data visualization and reporting using Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with Agile project delivery; experienced in JIRA, Confluence, and user story creation.
- Exposure to messaging systems (e.g., IBM MQ) and API-based data integration architectures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with global teams across business, technology, and compliance functions.
