Chief Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Automotive Technician to lead our team of mechanics and oversee all technical, mechanical, and electrical repairs in our automotive service center. As the Chief Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repairs on various makes and models, including high-end luxury vehicles such as Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform Technical Repairs: Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automotive systems, including engine overhauls, gearbox overhauls, air conditioning repairs, and electrical repairs. Ensure that all repairs are executed efficiently and accurately, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
- Lead and Supervise: Manage a team of mechanics, providing guidance, training, and support. Monitor the progress of repairs, allocate tasks, and ensure that work is completed within the set timelines and quality standards. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and professional growth.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot complex issues in automotive systems. Develop effective solutions and communicate the findings to the team and customers in a clear and concise manner. Make recommendations for repairs or replacements based on accurate assessments.
- Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards for all repairs and services delivered by the team. Conduct thorough inspections to verify the completeness and accuracy of work performed, ensuring that vehicles are safe and in optimal condition before returning them to customers.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of automotive parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring an adequate supply to support repair operations. Coordinate with suppliers to source necessary materials, negotiate pricing, and maintain cost-effective inventory control.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers to understand their automotive concerns and provide expert advice and recommendations. Address customer questions or concerns professionally and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the repair process.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in automotive technology, repair techniques, and diagnostic tools. Attend training sessions, workshops, and industry events to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive experience as an automotive technician, with a proven track record of performing complex repairs and diagnostics on various makes and models.
- Expertise in engine overhauls, gearbox overhauls, air conditioning repairs, and electrical repairs.
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to accurately identify and resolve complex automotive issues.
