- Visit contracted vessels for technical support on lubrication for Lubmarine network.
- Create lubcharts for newly contracted vessels and update it according to new regulation or new product launched.
- Supervises the used oil analysis service to monitor the results, provide assistance to ship crews, organizes collection of lubricant or fuel samples and answers to all types of technical inquiries from customers.
- Collects and analyzes all type of technical information from the market, equipment manufacturers, shipyard, customers and other proposes improvements to the management.
- Liaises with engine or equipment manufacturers in his area for approvals or other technical matters.
- Organizes local technical seminars for customers or internal teams on request, give lectures at maritime universities or schools.
- Create support material for local technical & marketing purpose, adapts to local language if necessary.
- Visit current or prospective customers with Marine Managers if required.
- Supports the sales team of Totalenergies Lubmarine, affiliates or partners for power plant business if any.
- Keeps up to date in the field of marine industries and marine engineering.
- Supplies management with oral or written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities & potential for product or services.
- Operates on a daily basis in full respect of delegation of authorities by Totalenergies Lubmarine.
- Applies & promotes the group policies and guide lines: Code of Conduct, HSE.
- Manage and optimizing technical department budget set by company.
- Support and visits Indonesia & Singapore shipyards technical enquiries and prepare the new building lubcharts for all Lubmarine customers. Prepare the new building update reports for all Lubmarine network.
- Bachelor or master degree in marine/mechanical engineering with seafaring experience.
- Experience with engine manufacturers will be plus.
- Strong communication and self management skill for working with multi-cultural environment.
- Problem solving capacity and strong commitment.
- Be fluent in English
- High resistance to stress and a good team player with management skills.
