**Our Office**

A&O Shearman in Singapore is a hub for the firm's work across Southeast Asia, with our Singapore office being an intrinsic part of the firm's Asia Pacific network. Our history in Singapore spans 30 years. We were among the first batch of international firms to be granted a Singapore Qualifying Foreign Law Practice (QFLP) license in 2008. In providing clients with the highest quality Singapore, U.S., and English legal advice, we are able to leverage our strength in local law capability to manage the more complex deals with Singapore law elements. We are, in every sense, one global team: supportive and collaborative, but also ambitious and driven. Our capacity to combine these qualities and provide a setting in which our people can thrive is what makes us different.

A&O Shearman's Restructuring group is a market-leading practice. We are looking for a junior associate to join our team in Singapore. While restructuring experience isn't a must, we welcome those with a finance background and a strong interest in restructuring and insolvency.

**Role Requirements**
- Business-level Mandarin proficiency is preferred due to the nature of ongoing deals
- Strong technical knowledge
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Strong commercial/business acumen with the ability to deliver creative and pragmatic solutions and advice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels and particularly to win the respect of the partner and fee-earner community, building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
