**Senior Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager**:
Tanjong Pagar, Singapore | Full-Time
We’re looking for a **Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager**to join our team — someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in their craft, and can confidently support the Head Chef in leading the brigade. This role is perfect for a chef with strong leadership skills who is ready to take ownership of operations while still being hands-on in the kitchen.
**What you’ll do**:
- **Lead daily kitchen operations**- oversee prep, service, and plating with consistency and efficiency.
- **Support the Head Chef**- step up in their absence, ensuring smooth execution and high standards are maintained.
- **Mentor and train the team**- guide junior chefs, share skills, and help build a motivated and skilled kitchen crew.
- **Resource & supplier management**- oversee stock levels, work with suppliers, and find ways to improve cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- **Maintain standards**- ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality are consistently upheld.
- **Menu collaboration**- contribute ideas for seasonal specials and assist in refining recipes.
- **Take ownership**- bring a proactive, solution-driven approach to managing both the people and the operations side of the kitchen.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Proven experience as a **Sous Chef, Senior Chef de Partie, or Kitchen Manager**in a café or restaurant setting.
- Strong culinary skills with a **passion for fresh, quality ingredients**.
- Natural leadership and excellent communication skills.
- Highly **organised, resourceful, and operationally savvy**, with a knack for problem-solving.
- Able to manage inventory, suppliers, and workflow efficiently.
- Hands-on, reliable, and committed to **delivering consistency and excellence**.
