**THIS IS A 2-YEARS RENEWABLE / CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT ROLE.
**Job Description
To be responsible for the planning and implementation of maintenance of Museum’s exhibits.

To be responsible for the appropriate scheduling and ensure ongoing and preventive maintenance to exhibits.

To enforce all security guidelines and regulations for both staff members and contractors with mínimal supervision.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Enforce and adheres to Museum’s SOPs and best practise & procedures.
- Produce detailed schedules which include staffing assignments and miles stones for upcoming exhibit projects and tasks.
- Support the working relationship with facility management and other events and operational departments by maintaining a museum exhibit calendar
- Schedule, facilitate and coordinate administrative procedures, including training and work safety documents for installation works etc
- Research on current trends on mounting capabilities
- Carry out ongoing quality control evaluation on exhibition maintenance operations
- Work closely with exhibition development and curatorial & collections departments and provide direct and significant creative input to the exhibit development and design team for future projects and remediation
- Oversee the proper start-up/shut down for all exhibits
- Perform regular checks, coordinate repairs and document exhibition operatives in the Museum
- Coordinate exhibition logistics and oversee contract labour for travelling exhibitions including load in and load out, installation and teardown
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Work may require visual acuity and hand dexterity to manipulate tools, safety equipment, and machinery

**Job Requirement**
- At least 4/5 years of direct experience working in MICE events/museums
- An interest and passion for Singapore history and the local art scene
- Self-directed learner and problem solver who remains productive under pressure
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Good time management skills
- Cultural understanding and empathy for diverse communities
- Availability to work on evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Team player
- Service oriented and enjoy interacting with people
