DESIGNATION : [NewPower Worldwide] Purchasing Representative

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Purchasing Representative is a critical member of the NewPower Worldwide Procurement team and isresponsible for driving revenue growth through new and existing vendor relationship. Your focus is to increase thevendor base and contribute to our long-term business growth. Responsibilities include researchingtargeted/strategic vendors, developing relationships with potential new vendors, managing, and growing existingvendor revenue opportunities.

1. Identify, qualify new suppliers and vendors.

2. Monitors pertinent markets and defines how changes will impact supply and pricing conditions.

3. Responsible to retrieve service request enquiries from Sales team and update pricing into the CRM.

4. Build, maintain strong relationship with existing and new suppliers and/or vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum a Diploma in any discipline
- Some years of experience as a Buyer/Sourcing role preferred
- Possesses a highly energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
- Good negotiation skills
- Good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in English and Korean to deal with Korean market/clients/vendors
- Must be comfortable to do cold calling to source for new Suppliers/Vendors
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Possesses a positive and can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and as a team

- Salary comes with a basic (up to 3k) and an attractive commission plan
