Singapore SUN-DAC Full time

**Core Function**:
The Programme Head is responsible for overseeing the effective delivery of community support programmes for clients of all SUN-DAC centres. He/She will be involved in planning, implementation and evaluation of all programmes and services to ensure clients receive quality engagement and day care to improve their quality of life.

**Core Responsibilities**:
1. Shares in the planning and overall management of SUN-DAC through the Leadership Team.

2. Uses an evidence based approach for effective delivery and evaluation of all programmes for clients with disabilities.

3. Oversees and coordinates with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapist, Training Officers and case managers to develop a holistic individual care plan for each client.

4. Monitors, evaluates programmes and ensures all programmes are able to meet stated objectives and outcomes.

5. Prepares, reviews budgets and submit grant proposals for SUN-DAC’s programmes.

6. Interprets the vision and mission of SUN-DAC to the community through direct involvement with public and private groups and networking with other social service agencies.

7. Supervises the Social Worker for Enabling Families and Community Inclusion Programme.

8. Endorses ATF Applications.

**Core Work Requirements**:
**Education & Experience**:

- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, administration or related field.
- Good leadership, supervision and planning abilities.
- Experience in Day Activity Centre (DAC) programme will be an advantage

**Experience**:

- A minimum of three years of managerial experience working in the sector preferred.

**Special Skills**:

- Demonstrated skills in people and team management and leadership.
- Knowledge of and ability to work effectively with the community and stakeholders;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, volunteers, and the public. Must be self-directed and work independently.

**Working Hours**:
Full time; 40 hours per week; with the ability to work flexible hours depending on needs and events
