**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- To manage a portfolio of distressed assets /non-performing loans (NPL) for both Commercial Banking and Global Banking

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsibilities : - Formulate, seek approval and execute the workout and recovery strategies on distressed accounts to extract maximum value and minimize impairments/losses to the Bank - Represent the Bank independently in multi-banks workouts and external meetings with customers, lawyers, financial advisors, liquidators, receivers, private trustees, judicial managers, investors and other creditors; and maintain effective working relationships with them - Proactively lead the recovery effort and legal actions on NPL, including restructuring and rescheduling, enforcement, writ-of-summons, judicial management, bankruptcy/liquidation, pre-packs/scheme of arrangement within Singapore and foreign jurisdictions where necessary - Perform Post-Mortem review to identify any credit/operational risks and conduct briefing to share “lessons learnt” with internal stakeholders - Assist in the prompt identification of early warning signs for corporate accounts and provide advice on risk mitigation of higher risk accounts - Support in relevant management/audit/ regulatory enquiry and reporting - Represent Remedial team on relevant/ad-hoc projects

- Degree in Banking/Finance, Accountancy, Business, or equivalent - Minimum 10 years banking experience in credit/corporate account management, of which at least 5 years should be in direct experience of managing corporate NPL restructuring and recovery. Case experience in foreign jurisdictions will be a plus. - Proven good track record in managing diversified stakeholders e.g. corporate customers, other lenders, financial advisors, lawyers, liquidators, judicial managers. - Good knowledge of insolvency laws and practices; with a deep working knowledge of banking products and practices - Excellent analytical skills and detail-conscious - Strong negotiation and influencing skills - Good interpersonal and communications skills and is a good team player to work well with the Remedial team, Business Units and other stakeholders - Hard working with a persistent and can-do attitude; taking proactive actions and has an agile/flexible mind set to explore alternatives to resolve problems - Results driven and able to work independently with mínimal supervision
