**About the Role**

AVPN is seeking a Senior Associate, Communications to be a part of the Marketing and Communications team. This role is perfect for someone with strong writing skills who is passionate about communications and public relations. You will report directly to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.

**What you will do**:

- Support all strategic communications activities to increase brand visibility and media exposure.
- Manage and liaise with communications/PR and branding agencies across the region.
- Work with different teams in the organisation to produce integrated communications & marketing plans to support all AVPN initiatives.
- Generate thought-leadership content for senior leaders - talking points, speeches and articles.
- Write media responses, opinion editorials and press releases.
- Write and manage the Annual Review process.
- Manage content creation for AVPN Blog (write and edit original AVPN articles as well as liaise with AVPN members for guest contributions).
- Maintain media kits and media collaterals.
- Edit and proofread articles for monthly newsletter, website and video scripts.
- Provide administrative support such as collating media clip reports, social media analysis reports, purchase requests and budget monitoring.
- Support AVPN signature events and conferences.
- Assist with social media content writing and posting from time to time.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks including video and podcast editing

**What you will need**:

- Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Be resourceful in terms of finding sources and asking questions on their feet.
- Be detail-oriented, thorough and meticulous.
- Be used to collaborate vertically and laterally with leadership, colleagues and clients.
- Have a strong interest in and passion for philanthropy and social investment.
- Firm MS Office, Google Suite; Adobe InDesign skills are a plus.
