**Summary:
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, maximizing profitability, and maintaining a positive and efficient working environment. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Leadership and Team Management**:

- Provide effective leadership to restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and supervising team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback to ensure staff development and growth.

2. **Operational Management**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards to guarantee a safe dining environment.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.

3. **Customer Service**:

- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent and excellent service.
- Monitor and evaluate guest feedback, implementing improvements as needed.
- Interact with customers to build positive relationships and gather feedback.

4. **Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Control costs and optimize resource utilization to maximize profitability.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to the executive team.

5. **Menu and Quality Control**:

- Collaborate with the chef and kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food standards.
- Monitor menu performance and recommend changes to meet customer preferences and industry trends.

6. **Marketing and Sales**:

- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Work with the marketing team to create promotions, events, and loyalty programs.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals.

7. **Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, food safety standards, and licensing requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, financial management, and customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of industry trends, competition, and regulatory guidelines.

**Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in restaurant management.
