**Our client is an established and well-diversified group of companies, with building construction & civil engineering being one of their core activities. Currently, they are seeking for an experienced legal counsel to advise and support all legal matters for a group of companies.**

**JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)**
- Advise and provide support on legal matters across a range of internal and external transactions including corporate, commercial and general advisory work.
- Drafting, negotiating and reviewing deal documentation and contracts.
- Working closely with internal management team and external advisory teams to manage disputes and other corporate transactions.
- Working closely with various departments within the group on joint ventures, tenders and commercial contracts.
- Advisor on corporate governance related matters.
- Maintaining high standard of corporate governance
- Ensure compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
- Good autonomy on various tasks including memoranda of understanding and commercial contracts.
- Conduct legal research to develop a good understanding of the group’s business activities.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree in Law / LLB in Law.
- At least 4 years of post-qualification experience, whether in-house or in private practice.
- Previous working experience in a public listed company within the construction industry will be advantageous.
- Experience in handling litigation will be an advantage.
