Our Marketing teams conceptualise and implement go-to-market activities to achieve increased usage and visibility. The Regional Marketing team is responsible for in-app campaign planning, product marketing, partnerships and content strategy to drive acquisition and engagement. The Regional Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing, which involve tracking and measuring data to better reach our users. - We are looking for a PR Associate with a deep understanding of Singapore’s media landscape, strong media relationships, and a passion for crafting compelling narratives. This role requires an individual with the creativity to drive impactful campaigns and the strategic mindset to manage brand reputation and media engagement effectively.
- Develop and execute creative, earned-led communications strategies to elevate the Shopee brand. Conceptualise engaging, on-brand narratives that resonate with diverse audiences and align with business objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive successful integrated campaigns, ensuring PR efforts complement marketing and social initiatives for maximum impact
- Act as a brand custodian by deploying defensive communication strategies to safeguard Shopee’s reputation, mitigate risks, and manage crises effectively
- Build, foster, and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, media outlets, and industry KOLs to enhance Shopee’s presence and credibility within Singapore’s media ecosystem
- Monitor, analyse, and report PR metrics to demonstrate the ROI, impact, and efficiency of campaigns, while providing actionable insights for improvement

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- 1+ years of relevant experience in PR or communications (in-house or agency)
- Proven track record in media relations with an established network of media contacts in Singapore
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences, platforms, and media channels
- Experience in crisis communications and reputation management is a strong advantage
- Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proactive, creative, and solutions-driven mindset, with the ability to think strategically and execute effectively
