Singapore ODIN MARINE SPECIALTY TANKERS (S) PTE. LTD. Full time

Odin Marine is looking for an Operations Executive join the Specialty/Chemical Tanker desk at our Singapore office.

Job Description:
You will be an integral part of the Operations team working closely with your colleagues to provide top quality operational support to our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Manage pre and post fixture voyage operations of vessels
- Closely monitor and update vessel itineraries and changes thereto
- Ensure compliance to agreed charter party terms and voyage orders
- Verify and provide necessary guidance and confirmations on cargo grades/splits, stowage plans, port/terminal restrictions etc
- Obtain and provide necessary documentation, updates and notices in a timely manner
- Liaise closely with all stakeholders to pre-empt / avoid / resolve / mitigate disputes or issues that might arise
- Send hire/freight/commission invoices and follow up on payments
- Prepare laytime / off-hire calculations and handle demurrage and other claims Update shipment records in system and prepare KPI and other reports

Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies
- Prior experience in commercial operations and preferably chemical tanker operations is desirable
- Able and willing to work after office hours and irregular hours as necessary
