**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the product owner and business SMEs in creating and documenting detailed business requirements, user stories and managing product backlog as part of product development
- Collaborate with data science lead in combining the business requirements with the data considerations for defining implementation approach
- Perform detailed analysis of requirements to translate into implementable sequence for product/solution development
- Independently collaborate with internal stakeholders (business leadership, product owner, business SME, data science lead, delivery lead, IT development team etc) in defining &documenting requirements
- Create structured and detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, business solution architecture, operating models etc., as part of the overall product development
- Support/assist product owner, business SME etc., during client conversations related to requirements definition, elicitation, solution approach review, business verification, product launch etc.,
- Work closely with the data science lead & product owner / business SME for detailed review &analysis of data requirements, assessing data sufficiency for business logic, data gap analysis & transformation, and aspects of source to target mapping etc.,
- Support the entire lifecycle of product development including requirements documentation, solution approach documentation, business verification/testing approach documentation, supporting test phases (integrated-, system-, alpha-, beta-, UAT, performance-, etc)
- Perform root cause analysis for any issues/defects raised & work with the solution team in resolving the defects

**Requirements**:

- Hands-on experience in being part of organizational change / transformation initiatives, as part of implementing business strategy (driven by considerations of revenue, cost optimization, risk management, regulatory/compliance etc)
- Strong experience in business analysis, requirements lifecycle management, solution building and translating business expectations into requirements (including prioritisation and sequencing)
- Experience in decomposing abstract and strategic business problems into specific requirements, and translating requirements into implementable solution components for development
- Exposure to business process management and experience in current-to-target process documentation, including transformation/change points
- Experience in requirements elicitation from business domain experts, SMEs, clients, business leads etc., involving multiple elicitation methods
- Experience in working in Agile methodology, in deep collaboration with product owners to manage the overall product strategy, product worklog and working in structuring epics, user stories etc.
- Exposure to the full-cycle tracing of requirements: from initial requirements definition, solution design until business verification / solution launch
- Hands-on experience in requirements documentation involving multiple tools (MS Word, Spreadsheets, MS Visio, Miro etc) to create artefacts like business requirements document, traceability matrix, requirements classification, swim lane diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, process flowcharts etc
- Basic understanding of finance domain is highly preferable
