**Role Overview**
Time Out Singapore is seeking an excellent lifestyle writer and curator who has experience in both a print and digital media environment. We are seeking a dynamic individual bursting with story ideas that will help grow our print, digital and social audience.
The focus of the job is primarily on writing about what’s exciting in Singapore across all verticals, including food and drink, shopping and style, kids, art and theatre and travel, as well as producing digital listicles and larger print features.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Write and own the digital vertical of their assigned sections on Time Out and all its social media channels
- Writing to a high standard and within the TOAsia Style Guidelines and producing video reports and picture galleries
- Producing timely news content, including (but not limited to) new openings, closures, product releases and trends, thought leadership pieces and interviews
- Writing concise and critical reviews of prominent venues with guidance from City Editor/APAC Content Director
- Research, pitch and write interesting stories for better engagement and reach, getting exclusive coverage for Time Out
- Updating and creating listings for prominent venues and events
- Updating features, in line with the editorial content calendar and SEO strategy
- Creating new features, in-line with the editorial content calendar and SEO strategy
- Creating social assets and scheduling posts across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
- Keeping up to date with social media trends and industry happenings
- Fronting social assets as the face of Time Out Singapore and the reporter of the piece

**Skills and Experience**
You will have a passion for and excellent knowledge of Singapore’s exciting lifestyle scene. Ideally you will have professional consumer content experience in the lifestyle sector, with a strong reporting and packaging background.

- Excellent grasp and understanding of SEO best practices.
- Highest standard of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to write copy in line with editorial standards
- The ability to work quickly to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced and creative media environment
- Experience in video production and editing is not mandatory, but is highly desirable.
