**Job Overview**:
You will be part of a high-performing engineering team supporting a critical customer project, where **design ownership, technical accuracy, and clarity in explaining design intent** are essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of PCBA design activities from concept to production.
- Translate system-level requirements into detailed electrical and PCB designs.
- Independently create and validate schematics, layout guidelines, and BOMs.
- Review and approve design documents ensuring compliance with standards and customer specifications.
- Justify design decisions with sound engineering principles and technical reasoning.
- Collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-testability (DFT).
- Participate in technical design reviews, assess risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging during prototyping phases.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 6-10 years of experience specifically in **hands-on PCBA design** (not only supervisory roles).
- Proven track record of working independently on board-level designs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to **clearly articulate technical decisions** and justify design choices.
- Proficiency in ECAD tools (e.g., Altium, Mentor Graphics, Cadence).
- Experience with high-speed digital, analog, or mixed-signal circuit design is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant IPC standards and compliance requirements.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
- Background working with multinational customers or OEMs with strict design standards.
- Exposure to signal integrity and power integrity analysis.
- Ability to conduct or support design simulations and failure analysis.
- **Immediate contribution expected**: Must be ready to perform with mínimal guidance.
- **Strong technical depth**: Ability to answer detailed questions about design decisions during interviews.
- **Self-driven and detail-oriented.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $6,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
